This Smothered Chicken & Gravy is the definition of comfort food. Tender chicken slowly cooks in a rich, savory gravy seasoned with LOZO's You're My Go-To, creating an easy meal that's perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday dinner. Whether you use the slow cooker or oven method, you'll end up with flavorful chicken that's delicious served over rice with your favorite vegetables.

Ingredients
- 1–2 lbs chicken drumsticks and thighs
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tbsp LOZO's You're My Go-To Seasoning
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 tbsp butter, divided
- Sliced peppers and onions (optional)
Slow Cooker Method
- Toss the chicken with avocado oil and LOZO's You're My Go-To Seasoning until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the flour into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour in the chicken stock and whisk lightly to combine.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
- Top with the butter and optional sliced peppers and onions.
- Cover and cook on High for 4 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Serve over rice with your favorite vegetables and spoon the gravy over top.
Oven Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Toss the chicken with avocado oil and LOZO's You're My Go-To Seasoning until evenly coated.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and chicken stock until smooth.
- Pour the mixture around the chicken and top with the butter.
- Add sliced peppers and onions if using.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for 10–15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and is lightly browned.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve over rice with vegetables and plenty of gravy.
